Here is where the mystic mythological world revive with its sustainable customs, and Catholic traditions are easily combined with encouragement of ancient paganism. The impassable bogs here still remember the enemies who were tricked here by Samogitians and finally killed, while the legends stilll exist about the Samogitians‘ character, their dashing courage when the spirit of freedom is much more important than life.
